About BU LTC (Linux technology center) is a Linux operating system development group focusing on development and testing of core kernel, filesystems, energy efficiency, RAS, networking, virtualization (KVM) , system bring up and integration with cloud products. All these development involves working closely with Open Source communities like Linux kernel, QEMU, OpenStack and so on. Linux kernel community worldwide has some of the best experts on operating system topics like scheduler, memory management, networking, filesystems and virtualization. Getting ideas and code accepted in the Linux community is a very enriching experience for engineers! LTC provides ample opportunities for engineers to work with Linux community on wide variety of topics. Job Description ( Role / Responsibility ) : DTest Engineer: Should independently own the components assigned, execute the tests, debug/ analyze test failures, raise bugs, interlock with developers and support team for the closure of the bug Give inputs to test planning, participate in the new feature studies, interlock with development team and actively contribute to the test case development/ automation.
